With the high number of health and fitness apps already available on app store and more coming everyday it’s highly impossible not to find an app for something you are looking for. Sometimes i find myself surprised seeing over a dozen health and fitness app on wife’s iPhone. The problem with most of the apps in the category is that they are good at just one feature that makes them stand apart but doesn’t give users a complete solution for all their day to day needs. But soon I found out an app that I could gift my wife to make things simpler and more managed, and also share it with everyone here.
All-in Fitness is an app that can take care of each and every aspect of your health keenly. When you start with the app the first thing you should ideally do is give details about your health and body type to the app, accordingly the app can deal with you in future sessions. The app has 4 main areas – My Workouts, Exercise base, Food & Calories and Body Tracker. My Workout section help you decide which exercises to take and where to start from depending on your body type and preferences like quick mode , personal trainer mode , expert mode and fast mode. With steps ,multiple images , videos and audio the app will explain you about the ways each exercise is performed . Later you have to perform a given number of sets of the same exercise and then you can note details like weight used, repetitions performed and more in each set of exercise performed.
Exercise base is the second section in the app where you can learn exercises for specific body parts , muscles , with specific equipments or all of them . Suppose i want to reduce my belly, for that I can go to the body parts tab and choose abdominals to get all the exercises which can be performed to reduce and shape up my abdominals. But suppose I have limited equipments in my personal gym , then I can select the equipments tab and see which excercises can be performed over my equipments . Each exercise will have appropriate photographs , video’s , muscle used figure chart and history of the same exercise done in the past making it easier for your track your performace and growth.
Body Tracker is very useful utility for people who want to observe the changes happening in the specific body part with aid of number, pictures and graphs. You can initially add number to each body part for example: chest – 54 , weight 74 , calf – 18 and so on and then keep updating them as and when you find developments in them . For your utility the app also offers feature to take pictures of your body parts and store them accordingly to keep a track of them and compare them in future. Graphs could be useful to get an overview of your body quickly with just a glance by using filter like by week, month, quarter, year and all time.
